As promised a card, but in a busy but enjoyable weekend I still have little time so this time I didn't pimp the inside of the card. The outside though turned out quite pretty, a lovely spring card with a cute Magnolia stamp colored on kraft paper with those gorgeous Faber Castell pencils that my sister Annika bought, I'm sooo jealous, a 120 colors, grrrr ;-). The brandnew paper I used is brilliant by First Edition calles Up Up & Away. I tried to get the glitter of the paper in de detailpicture.
Seeing this card on the picure really makes me happy! As so often I actually did something silly, because when I started coloring on the Kraft paper I kept testing the color of the pencils right beside Tilda, and then when I was finished I couldn’t use a nestabillity to cut her out so I had to cut her out. That’s why you really can’t see the kraft paper anymore, LOL, why do such things always happen to me LOL!!
Here’s a detailpicture that I really didn’t make for the bow but to show you the gorgeous glitter of these papers. You might want to enlarge the picture by clicking on it but then it really shows.
Because I loved the paper so much and quite a bit gets covered with flowers and stuff, I decided I didn´t want a large sentiment stamp to cover even more. So I decided on a small sentiment stamp and stamped on transparent Mica so the paper and stitching would shine through. To glue it down I used Olba Lijm Kit, a brilliant glue that I recently bought. It comes with a standard seringe but you can also buy a small seringe for really fine gluework. Check it out on the picture, the glue is just about invisible. I also glued the dew drops with it.
Last but not least a picture of the flowers and that cute wooden butterfly I bought on holiday in Italy last May together with some other wooden ornaments. And it takes a year before I actually use it, does that happen to you too??
